Heres some more BG work that is actually a panel from the SpiderMan plot that im working on right now. This is the version that i lay on TRACING PAPER and then draw from onto my original board. This plot is taking a little longer to knock out because of a few things, but the main reason is that i am attempting some new things in my work, and obviously that changes the scope of alot things when applied.Well, wnjoy the tease and i will post the full version when i get done, AIGHT!

Background work! Definitely something I need to respect in my work. It's always the last thing I think about or I don't put much time in on it.

Yeah man, im the same way, i know i can do them but i didnt like doing much at all, but recently, i realized that if i dont do them now i will NEVER get work, so if my word of advice to anybody could be anything it would be, DO EM! They only make your piece look better anyway at the end of the day. Thanks for the props man.

That's a dope variation on that panel. I'm pretty sure your still working on it, but I'd suggest adding a little more detail to the foreground building. Maybe some lights, and put a few plants on there or something.
But I bet your still adding to it....

YUP, actually the final has a lot more details, and im done with it so, i'll have you check it out, there are some little stuff that im gonna dd, but for the most part, its done.

yeah, I figured. Can't wait to see it. Kinda miss that plot, maybe I'll explore it again. But my Marvel plot is gonna be this sick DareDevil plot I wrote. I can't wait to get to that one!! post those sum beech's when you get em done!

it's a very lengthy process -- thus, the pain. But when you have a very nice background like this one, that would just take away the thorns of making backgrounds.
I believe even my hero Jim Lee doesn't even enjoy the backgrounds -- coz I think he's dying to define and refine the characters first -- like me. Let's ask Leinil and Mark, next... hehehe

Oh, I haven't ever been in new york for a full day, I'm doing fine tho. Me and my girl are planning to check out that cafe sometime when we have time Ai is still killing us, not for too long tho.....this does kind of remind me of that "michigan st." view tho, nothing wrong with that tho. Maybe just shows your influences. U wrote this story?

LOL! Me too, lol, thanks for the compliment mang. I do alot of touch-ups and stuff like that, tons of Lightboxing, and sketches, and changes, its a long process right now but im getting faster at it, so soon i will be able to do them HELLA QUICK!
