Long time no see! I have all but disappeared from this site over the past... months? Years? Anyways sorry for the absence, I don't have as much free time as I used to. But, I am here now with a new thing.

I was invited to participate in this year's Pokemon project over at
and decided to take them up on it. So this is my last minute submission for that. We were to choose a pokemon from gen 2 as well as a move, and illustrate the pokemon performing the move without the use of a background. I went with Ursaring and hyper beam, because few things are scarier than the concept of one of the most dangerous and uncontested land based predators in the world being gifted the ability to fire destructive rays of energy from its gob.

The project was exclusive to people that participated in the first one, but starting in April it will be expanded and anyone will be able to make a submission. The first project encompassing Generation 1 can be seen here :
