Description Thunderbird 4 is deployed into a particularly horrific storm.

Thunderbird 4 was actually my original favourite TB, i'm not even sure why, probably the design and that it was seldom used and therefore felt special. Then I realised TB1 would let me get in on all the action.

The final in my Thunderbirds series, and probably the one i'm least happy with, maybe it's the model, perhaps the angles but this image has taken me nearly 3 weeks, with many false starts. So instead of me giving up for the 3rd time, I persevered and this is the result. So hopefully this lives up to the standard of the others.

Made by:
Screaming at a computer screen asking why it doesn't love me any more.
Vue 10
Google sketchup.
Simply 3d.
Photoshop
Particle Illusion
and my new Bamboo Graphics tablet <3

On an interesting side note, I got to meet Mike Trim, who worked as a designer/artist on Thunderbirds -> UFO. It was fantastic to talk to him and I got to chat to him about the 2004 movie and another Thunderbirds series that almost happened.

I bought his original concept for TB4 from the movie off him and it now hangs on my wall

My favorite Thunderbird, makes be wish there was an episode where Thunderbird 4 had to do a rescue mission in a storm but if they did it probably would have been to hard to film.

Wow!! Very dramatic!! If this is the least of your Thunderbirds art, I've definitely got to give the rest a look. I think this looks fantastic!

This pictures is great. Seems like it was a lot of work but it paid off. The shot looks really dynamic. There's a good sense of movement and TB ready to go into action

The water effects look fantastic as well.

Excellent in deed! It inspires me to get on and finish my TB4 model so I can make some renders - and try to get something that aims to be any where near this good.

I love this. TB4 was always a favourite of mine, too, and what this image really captures well is the moment of frozen time as the craft is launched from the storm and into the calm of the ocean deep.

Your issue with this is that its too close and doesn't really show anything. Though its likely being deployed for deep underwater action which of course can't be shown or detailed, its still just TB4 splashing into the water.

I still like it though.

True, and admittedly a lot of my pictures tell a story, this one doesn't as much. That said i wouldn't say this image: [link] by the legendary mike noble is just TB3 and smoke

I see you want critique, but I don't have time to write a lot. It's completely awesome, but Gordon's orange sash seems to be a meter wide Oh wait, no. I just pressed download and saw that it's the back of his console Maybe tone down the saturation on that, cause it's distracting Apart from that it looks really awesome

Cheers for the heads up, got a bit carried away to get across that I had modelled the inside.
