Description
A wrecked US Navy DC-3 on a volcanic beach in Southern Iceland. The pilots were allegedly able to bail before the plane was forced down in the 1970's due to severe icing on the wings. Currently, Icelanders shoot at it with firearms and tourists shoot at it with cameras.-

Thank you! It was really interesting to be able to walk in and around the aircraft, though I wonder how much longer it will be around. It seems to be in a more advanced stage of ruin than a lot of pictures suggest.
