Description
This took 11 hours to render, the SWF conversion doesn't really do justice. If anyone has any idea about how to save quality with a good converter please let me know. For a higher resolution watch here:Β youtu.be/Tt32QJ0inIw
Hope you like! Let me know what else you'd like to see!

WOW, I mean simply wow.
I had to do a double take even as a still, it looked like it may have simply been a good cosplay job, but the animation is gorgeous, the only thing I can remotely criticise is the hair, but anyone who works in Daz knows that hair is a challenge even in stills. Hair is probably one of the hardest things to get right in CG animation, that is well established, so I did not mark this down at all for that. I doubt many people have rigs capable of doing hair well without dedicating the machine to work on a simple image for ages.
The only thing I marked it down on was originality.... a headshot of an elf is hardly a new concept, after all the artist himself has done numerous ones. That said I did not mark down by much as the overall result was brilliant.

Not bad at all. I would suggest making the move-forward and move-back movements a little faster, and add a blink or two.
As for swf conversions, I stick with Pazera, which is free.

if you use daz the bwst is to render it to " a series of pics" instead of "movie" you can use a program (not sure which) to convert all images into a movie keeping your quality.

As shellyuk1990 says in her critique, this looks more like film of a cosplayer than it does digital animation.

I can't understand - the effect of "dirty glass in front of the camera", is it the fault of Iray or is it a conversion problem in .swf/video? It is clearly visible (especially in the background of pupils) that the noise points are always in the same places, regardless of the movement of the model.

It could be a mixture of both. I had to limit the iterations per frame to 200 and the conversion to swf also reduced quality.

Great animation work, very expressive.
I use www.apowersoft.com/free-online⦠for SWF conversion from AVI.

Awesome thank you! Is there a limit to the food size? Or any restrictions on the desktop version?

I haven't run up against a size limit yet, nor have I downloaded the desktop version.
But it does allow high Bitrate setting, 8000 is close to original quality to my eye.
