Both are gods trying to spread darkness across the universe Both got beaten by their own creations ( knull the Symbiotes for his first atempt at conquering and Barbatos got betrayed by Hawkman and Batman helped lead to Barbatos defeat in the online dc game) Both are technically imortal
Both have a well known villain helping them ( carnage and joker as the Batman who laughs) Both are considered too powerful for the movies Both use their powers to torture well known characters ( venom and bat man) through mental attacks And both have only appeared in one game ( to the best of my knowledge) ( for knull it is marvel future fight and for Barbatos it is the dc online game)
