Awesome scene. Doesn't look too good for Psylocke at the moment.

First off, f***ing sweet. You are going above and beyond anything that anyone is doing with markers. This is crazy.
Next, how much do you spend on markers. Because, it looks like to be about three to four markers per shade.
Lastly, f***ing sweet.

First off, thanks. I use every shade available. To get smooth gradiations, theres no other way that ive found. I buy sets of about 6 per shade, so its about 50 markers or so that last me a couple months at least. I also use refillable copics, but that ink lasts me a good while.
Lastly, thanks again!

Just had to ask. Now, how much time do you spend on pieces?

This is positively bad ass; love the near-pixelated effect of the snow. The glint of the swords meeting is also a very nice, subtle touch. And goodness - those hips.Β

Thanks! Thats suppose to be bits of glass like they just went through a window, but I like the snow flake idea. I remember Chris Bachalo doing something like that and thinking it looked really cool. Hehe, yeah, I like big hips, so I'll probably slowly make my ladies have bigger and bigger hips. End up with Frazetta style ladies some day.

Oh! I didn't realize it was meant as glass - but that is also a creative take on the debris around them that I like as well! And yes, anything Bachalo does is all right in my book - so you've automatically got a winner there with me.
As for the ladies; please, please do!Β

Beautiful, as always, Chris. I love how your figures have real solidity to them, and yet they aren't stiff at all, but have a great deal of movement and fluidity as well. Plus, you have gotten really good at conveying spatial depth even with so many figures in the background.
When are you doing another sketchbook?

I appreciate that, thanks. I don't know if I'll do another sketchbook. I don't go to enough cons to sell them LOL. I might do some prints though.

Sheeesh! The detail
Yet another masterfully worked out piece.
The only thing that buggs me is that her arms seem to have a slight size difference. But I just noticed that after admiring it for a while . At first glance ur just blown away by awesomeness
Anyways keep that sick stuff comin and bring joy to your watchers
