Continuing with my nostalgia painting series. Like most 80's gamers Mario was a pretty awesome to me. I didn't have a lot of Mario's games, but I loved them all and have so many great memories of playing them. He's kind of a big deal so he was a no brainer for a painting and a lot of fun to work on. FYI, my favorite Mario game is still Mario 64.Oils on Canvas

Very interesting and unique piece. There are a lot of "Reimagined" Mario themed artworks out there but this one is something special.

Heh, yeah, the Koopas are pretty defenseless critters. mario's just going around beating up harmless turtles. Not cool, Mario.

this is frikking incredible. I have never seen someone handle traditional media like you do. I loved mario 64 too but I think that the first game will always have a special place in my heart as that was my first mario game. Heck first game ever actually. Anyway remarkable work!

I was like 5 or 6 yrs old when I received as a gift a Nintendo and it came with the Original Mario Brothers game and Duck Hunt. Such great times, although I don't miss blowing into the cartridges to play... Haha!Β
