I did this one for myself a while back. I did a lot more color mixing on this one than I have in previous paintings.Oils on Masonite.

One question, do you do a grisaille or an under-painting when you do your oils or is it strait color to canvas/paper?

Stunning work! I can "feel" the texture even through the scan. I bet this one is 1000 times better in real-life. The yellow on his costume pops so nicely. And I love that you chose the Silvestri-Lee era costume, my favourite!
