hm the cut in the middle is pretty hard - maybe some more linking elements would do quite well..
also I would change the font - either caps only or sans serif...

well its such a hard cut in the middle - I dunno exactly how to change that either - maybe it'll help to let some white flows into the black an vice versa - but maybe that'll also destroy the concept... I'm not sure.. just try to link both sides a bit better...
