Description
Art time!This piece completes a set of 3 that I've been working on. Needless to say, this was quite a fun one to work on, too. It changed significantly since the initial sketch. I'm rather pleased with how it turned out, in the end, but I did have to work through a few roadblocks along the process.
At one time, I drew a face on the person there, but I ended up removing it. The dark cowl gives off more of a sense of mystery, I think.

Looks excellent! And yes, I agree that the shadowed face looks more mysterious! One small problem I think though, the finger of the dragon that is pointing down toward the ritual circle seems off. At first I thought it was too big, but after thinking about it for awhile I think instead it is perhaps that the joints aren't very visible on that finger. It looks like all one bone. I really like the picture otherwise though, your coloring is amazing as always <3

Hmm... I think the problem was introduced when I ws drawing the scales. I'll try to fix that right away.

I've tried several different ways of drawing dragon eyes, but this is definitely my favorite style to use.
