And it just had to be right before the weekend...Typical
Anyway, if you are sitting there and viewing this then that means either you are still alive or Heaven isn't as exciting as you hoped (either that or Hell managed to live up to expectations
).But at least it also means the past few days of my life weren't wasted either. Since to get this done on time it was really just work and do this. I had been planning on making a special submission for this date since over a year ago yet somehow I still managed to leave it to the last minute, though I wasn't expecting to be as busy as I am now. Thankfully I was ale to save a lot of time on the city by using some old building models I really should re-do by now, but with so many together in a dark setting they worked surprisingly well. I did also use some "real" ones though from some photo's I took a few years back too...I knew someday I'd need them, even if that someday was the last day

While at the same time this is very beautiful, the concept behind it and how a atomic blast can elegantly shatter steel skyscrapers, essentially the basis of the 80s, so easily, it makes me feel sad, and gives me a good enough stance for why I'm deathly afraid of nukes..

Yeah, but still, there are still countries with such weapons who might be jittering at their desks wanting to get even with a country or group of people and wanting to use them, and I'm still waiting for when that impatience will get any of us..

I think the world has been in worse situations than now. Even though the threat of World War 3 is always there - I think today the world isn't as eager to jump to a war as it was in the past. Everybody simply has too much to lose

Yeah, it definitely has. But the threat is alway there, growing. Also, I have a bit of paranoia over Apocalyptic things. Because, I have quite alot to lose- my family and friends are very important to me.

I always enjoy a city setting. I like the older building archeticure. Was this 3D modeling by any chance? I also like the smaller buildings that are nestled in with the towering skyscrapers.

I don't know why but old architecture in a city kinda depresses me. I like seeing new urban areas being formed that live up to todays design directions, and they're all shiny and new
Most of the buildings are 3D models. Thanks to Vue I was able to scatter the models over a large area very quickly (so there's lots of duplicates in there
