EDIT:
I have finally drawn up the instructions!
Contained is three pages of templates and explanations on how to make the platron (chestplate), the shell, and how to sculpt the face and feet. The rest should be basic plushie technique

Your tute is super comprehensive. I'm definitely gonna try as soon as I get a little free time. ^_^ Do you use felt?

I use fleece mostly. Unless you use heavy duty felt, I'd imagine it would pull and tear as soon as you start stuffing it. Fleece is a wonderful fabric because it's cheap, comes in tons of colors, and is soft.

That's a really nice pattern, I came across it while looking for a basic stuffed animal pattern. XD;
Too bad I won't be making any turtles. :/

plushies are so much fun to make . These turtles aren't too hard, just time consuming. Let me know if you make it, I would love to see it.

I'll probably put my own spin on it and not copy your tut exactly heh, ^^ [link] that's a cat I made from quilt fabric scraps, it was really easy, just trace the pattern and sew both sides together the only thing that was time-consuming was the face really, anyway I'll definitely let you know if I do,

oh definitely, a lot of people do that actually. The shell is what people seem to borrow the most, but it really its nothing more then a hat with a bottom :3

Ahh..., sorry the shell is the only thing confusing to me, maybe the top plastron is as well though,

I clicked on it but it didn't work T^T
I figured out an easier way to make a TMNT plush too. Make a build-a-bear turtle and stitch-on or tie-on a bandanna ^w^

Did you click the image or the download button to the left? The image is only an thumbnail image. so it won't automatically full view or download.
If not I can email it to you if necessary, when I get to my other computer.
As for the build a bear thing that would be easier, but they are so expensive. Plus its fun to make our own.

Uhm...what download button?
Yea I know...but I made a turtle one a few years back and I'm just gonna get red, blue, orange, and purple fabric and I can switch out the masks ^w^

Okies thanks.
And I like the whole tampon thing you put up...for one it was funny for another truth hurts.
I don't use tampons but I showed my friends and they freaked...still use 'em though XD
