MY Hunger Games inspired LipsI used red lipstick, orange and yellow pigments, gold glitter and black liquid eyeliner to make the mockingjay.

First, The whole color texture is amazing. How you made the colors blend to make a..a fire mood! The glitter I think made the whole thing a bit better, maybe a bit less up on the top... ?
Then finally the best part (I thought) Is of course the mockingjay. The logo of the Hunger Games! It's finely printed on the lips no smudges no smears! Perfect!
I do have a question... did you use a stamp? (For the mockingjay) Or did you draw it on your lips? Trust me I have no clue or any talent with makeup! I just put it on!! Overall I think it looks amazing!

The color is absolutly amazing. The way you use the lips as a canvas is beautiful and the mocking jay is wonderfully done. Along with putting the gray scale to use in the back it amazing. And the thing that really astounds me is that you portrayed the color and beauty of fire in so many ways it just makes me breathless.
I dont have any thing bad to say about your work. If i could give you somthing i would tell you to keep on working on your work how you are because what ever your doing is working wonders for you.

This is so amazing, I have seen nothing like this! The colors are so vibrant and clear, representing fire perfectly. The glitter had an amazing touch, just to really catch your eye. The mockingjay was a great element, very perfect, too. (It looked as if you used a stamp or something!) The way you zeroed in on the (colors of) lips and made the rest gray/ black/ white adds such a nice pop. This is something that I would never be able to do, and you did a great job on this... photoshop or not, and you should be very proud of yourself.

This is absoloutely magnificent! The colours are so fierce and fiery! It really shows a lot of passion and emotion, even a sence of rebellion in this photo. I love how the lips are so bright but the background is grayscale.
They eyeliner to make the mockingjay works so well! It might as well be photo shopped but you being the artost you are, didn't do that, you took the time and had the skill to do this!
The drawing is so precise, and the photograph is very detailed.
The cast of the Hunger Games really deserves to see this and you must have been a true fan to attempt and succeed in doing something like this.

I think this is beautiful. I love the design and the color of the lips and how you drew this. The glitter is very textured and beautiful and it goes along with the color of the lips. The red on yellow background works perfectly, and the mockingjay pin on the lip looks like a tattoo, even though it was made with Eyeliner.
I like how you made this, so I gave you five stars on vision, I think I've seen thousands of Hunger game's related stuff so I have you a three out of five on Originality, I enjoy your technique so I gave you a four-ish out of five, I didn't give you all of the stars because I think you should have done a whole face thing. I think this is beautiful so I gave you a five out of five stars on Impact.

First of all, I just want to say how beautiful this is! You've obviously put a lot of effort into this and it really is gorgeous.
The precision in the lipstick and pigments as well as the mockingjay is outstanding, they bleed together really well to make a fire impact. You've also done the mockingjay really well.

I really like the color combination, it is a wonderful representation of fire, and the glitter is to symbolize sparks flying, yes? It is quite beautiful, and makes the mind think.
This is all before we even get to the Mockingjay, which in itself, is exquisite. You must be a very talented individual to have drawn it so well, I know many who could not draw it half as well with pen and ink on paper. But you, you managed to capture the image beautifully on such a small scale, it truly boggles the mind.
The photograph is also fantastic, and very nicely done, the angle adds to the picture, and the clarity of it is something to admire.
All in all, it a marvelous piece of artwork, and I am eager to see what you will do next, something odd for me to feel.

Chuchy5 has created probably the most unique tribute to the popular book series, The Hunger Games that I have ever seen. Using expert color combinations and photo shop skills they have produced an excellent piece that is quite an eye catcher. The only flaw (and I know it's kind of a wierd complaint) is that the yellow color is a bit over powering compared to the base red color of the lips. Also, the glitter is inconsistent throughout the lips, but this is not a major mistake and is easily fixable, so it isn't a big deal. Over all, this is a beautiful piece and was done very well, especially the Mockingjay center piece, which- as said in the description- is done with LIQUID EYELINER! The skill put into this is unbelievable and the piece is just amazing. Very memorable!

This was stunning when I first came on to the dA homepage! The Mockingjay is done very well-nicely detailed with it being only on a small area. The sparkles add a very nice touch to the firey lips. Please mind this is only my third review, and I do not like to give them very often.
When I see these make up works on the front page, I'm rarely drawn to them. Most are the same style, the same idea, jadada. However, when I saw the details of the mockingjay pin, I had to click to read the description.
Over all, I'm extremely impressed (and quite jealous!) of your craftsmanship with eyeliner. The details on the arrows are beautiful, not to mention your skills with blending and the photography done.
All in all, your vision was 'eh', since it's a fan art piece on the lips, originality is low because lip/makeup art is shockingly popular and of course impact is four stars because of originality issues. However, your techniques are amazing and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Amazing. The detail, it is amazing. I like how the mocking jay is not smeared but like in perfect form. The different colors bring out the black in the mocking jay. The red is not to dark and the yellow or gold is not to bright. The skin and teeth definitely stand out. The glitter add just the right brightness. Overall you did a amazing job. It must have been hard to do it. Good job. I have never seen anything like this. Have you done something like this before. It not very good job. If you did still very good job.

Wow. I mean, seriously, wow! When I saw this on the front page, I just HAD to favorite it. And critique it! OK, so, let's get on with it then!
What should I say first? OK, how about the colors? Absolutely stunning! Like, it gives me goosebumps! I really like how you didn't try to crowd it with a strange pattern but at the same time didn't bore with a solid base for your Mocking Jay. The lips fade into each color really well and I didn't even need the Mocking Jay to think "Girl on Fire."
Next, the detail. Oh my God! I can't even begin to explain how taken I am by the Mocking Jay! It looks like a stamp, it's just so perfect and precise! If I had attempted something like that, even with a larger canvas, it would have turned out sloppy and probably would only barely resemble the actual symbol.
I think the gold glitter was a very nice touch to wrap everything together and over all this work is breathtakingly gorgeous! Keep doing what you do! You're amazing!

I've read all three books and watched the movie, this very much reminds me of both! You've got the prefect colours which I'm guessing are from when they had the flames on their clothes as they rode to the games. I Don't know how you did it but the Mockingjay is perfect and looks exactly to the one on the books. The one thing that would have made this out of the world is if you were able to put little flames on the mockingjay itself, but maybe that might be a little to much. Anyways you did an amazing job!

What cought my interest was: The colours yellow in combination with the strong red. Very eye-catching.
I really like the two colours you used, they create an harmony and an disharmony. You have these two contradictions in one piece of art, which is incredible. The colours of the lips contrast with the strong white make-up, which leads to completely focus on the lips. Good.
Furthermore the gold particles make these lips seem more special, more valuable. This underlines the importance of the mockingjay and the connection to the "Hunger Games". You really get the feeling, that the artist favours this story (film or book or both).

You don't see the lips symetric on the picture, the lips lie lopsided, this creates tension and interest in the viewer of this picture. The half open mouth with the teeths increase the interest. Great idea.
To sum all these observations up and to come to an end, this is a very well done piece of art. It really shows the "fanatic feelings" to the storyline without destructing the colours of the lips and the picture as a whole. This is just amazing.
I can't believe how well you captured all of it - the colors, the shapes, evert little, unnoticable detail that makes it perfect as a whole.
It's simply flawless.
I really like how the red and the yellow are somewhat 'tangled' in each other and are making the whole picture look like it's actually a fire. I love the small glitters (sorry if they're not called like that) - they are just a detail that adds up to everything else, but that also makes it look even more realistic.
And finally, the Mockingjay.
I'm stunned. For real. It's just as perfect as it can be. There's not a single line out of place, nothing.

I've never done this before, so stick with me please!
I love the vibrant colours, they're really eye catching, especially against the white skin and teeth. I feel it would've looked a tad better if the colours were blended more, although I don't really know if that would have been possible. Nonetheless, it's beautiful.
The glitter kind of throws me off a bit though, it kind of looks like a last second add on, personally. I think a finer glitter would've looked better, but I still like the touch.
And the mocking-jay is stunning. I didn't think it was eyeliner at first! I honestly thought you made some sort of sticker or transfer or something and stuck it on your lip. It's so perfect!
I haven't read the books, but this looks so good!
I gave the originality only four stars because everyone seems to be doing Hunger Games make-up, but this is my far the best lip I have seen. It's simply stunning. (:

You did a beautiful job with everything! I love how you used the eyeliner to draw the bird, i would have never thought of that! You did an amazing job blending the colors all together and i like that you used the glitter to give it more of a unique look! Well done the depth of color really makes the work. A nice job of blending all around and the glitter is applied conservatively as to not overwhelm the colors. My only gripe is the glitter on the logo. An icon should always be the focus of a work. Think of the color on the lips as a custom paint job on a car. The logo acts as a decal to go over the color to attract the viewer's attention. Though in my mind it doesn't devalue the piece since anyone and their dog can still make out the image quit clearly. "OMFG" is what the vast majority of people will think or say when they see this. It has a kick ass impact, of total awesomeness. Up till now i've never seen somebody do this before, so its quite original. Also appears that time is required and a Steady Hand.
