The lightening and composition of this is really beautiful.. I love how the nats kind of blur and fade out like that, it adds to the emotional value somehow. Such a beautiful shot

Hehehe, I'm immune to their bites.. their bites arent actually the ones that hurt.. its when they bite and piss at you that hurts.. the piss stings worst than a bee...

agreed, not only does it hurt on the outside but when insects piss on me it hurts emotionally too!

You have a very nice gallery site there...

I especially like your color jive collections.... but i think some in your tulipation series are slightly overexposed (IMHO) especially at the top of the female pistil... personally, I would angle the focus so the top of the pistil and anters are clear or stop down a few stops... but that's just personal style i guess...

The colors seems a bit unrealistic but present a very surreal and enriching visual experience (which i think adds a nice artistic touch to it). Composition wise i think is excellent... I probably wouldnt have chosen any other way to present it.

Very nice and presentable overall... well done...

Do keep in touch..

Ohhhh this is unbelieveable. WOW. You find the most amazing things. I think its teaching me more about paying attention TO those little beautiful things, and carry them with me. I love this piece because of all of the meaning in it.
great work.

:claps: Great. Especially difficult holding steady at such a small level, trying to keep pace with them as they move and you try to focus. Well done.

Great shot. Good eyes and good timing. Sometimes we need something to remind us that nature was not designed by Walt Disney.

That's a fantastic capture, although the focus could be a bit better.
Ah but I know how hard it is to get a proper focus with ants.

Hehehe.. yeah its horrible trying to focus on moving ants... especially with macro.. every mm they move.. your focus moves... i took about 8-10 shots of this... only to find this had the best focus... the aim was on the dead ant itself and the DOF was intended to be shallow on the dead ant...

Ah with ants no skill will do. you need some extra focusing luck

now that sound a lot like ants of my dreams
I often dream that all birds, insects and animals I try to shoot would come up to me and just freez in mid air 1 meter away from me for some 5 minutes

Ah but it all has its' own drawbacks too. photography would become pretty boring then. waiting really adds to it
