Though not actually seen in the story, in Chapter 13 it's mentioned that Yuwa was getting rather "hands on" with archery training, while further back than that it's mentioned that she's also rather fond of archery.
And why wouldn't she be? It's a field in which she excels at, and it reminds her of her roots.
When your mother is a fletcher who's going to teach you the trade, you've already got one foot through the door of going above and beyond with a bow. Much like Revolver Ocelot understands the bullets, Yuwa understands her arrows and know before she even knocks them what their flight path will look like. They go where she wishes.
Ok, maybe that assessment is a bit of an over estimation, but outside of the older masters, there is no finer active archer in Kaesu than Kome's Tiger retainer.
And now that events in her life have changed her outlook and smoothed or washed out her prejudices, she's more than happy to share her expertise with those close to her.
