Description
This reminds me of a picture from the 1920's (perhaps I'll try it in B&W).The Reading 2102 came to Chicago for a fan trip only once that I knew of. I didn't ride. I just went downtown to shoot it. It was a smoggy day in 1968 and the engine smoke just floated around giving everything a misty appearance. I am a little embarrassed to admit I don't remember who's rails she ran on.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I knew it was a Reading T1! What great machines they were!

They are impressive machines. The Chessie Steam Specials and the Freedom Train with 2101 visited Pittsburgh a few times. 2101 was burn in B&O Roundhouse fire, was cosmeticly repaired and is on display at the B&O Museum [link]
