So I wanted to do something interesting with the shading on this but in the end I just kept landing back at the old standby of cel-shading. I guess that's my style's way of telling me I should stop trying to emulate other artists?One of the things that stands out to me the most about Discord's design is his serpentine body, so I tried to emphasize that in this drawing (I'm not fond of pics that try to give him a normal, beast-like body structure.) It also makes sense to me since eastern dragons are often mixtures of many different creatures.

Epic!! I love drawings that bring out his asian dragon features. We don't know for sure he's part "asian" dragon, but it would explain the serpentine body and white hair tufts.

Wow, this turned out great! I like the toned-down colors which give it a more natural feel. I also adore the bit of shading on the tail, it stands out from the rest of the piece because it seems to be done in a different style, maybe that's why it's so eye catching. Anyway, good job with this.
