this was extremely helpful, and thinking about making a few! <3

does one work better than another? thanks again. :3

Hi, I browsed your comments and you gave permission to sell the finished Luma to others who asked. I am just double checking that you're still ok with that. I plan on making an army of Lumas (full sized and half-sized) to sell--made from your pattern at a local arts and crafts festival. I also set up an etsy shop that will have Lumas (MiddayMornings) (and other fun things). I gave you credit in the product info on the Etsy listing and will make a sign next to my Luma army at the arts and crafts festival. Does that work for you?

I'm not quite sure how to put it inside out on step 5, I tried to but it always ended up being only one side of the star only which was weird...any ideas on what I did wrong?

Hello, it seems very cute but I have a problem with mine : I am at step 4, and the two top of head are reversed, I can't sew it properly . The two parts are seems-out as it is said, but it doesn't work. Do you have an idea of what happened and how to resolve this issue ? Thank you ^^ !

Sounds like you sewed both pairs with the curl facing one side, when they need to face opposite directions to fit together. Β Take one apart and flip the pieces over to sew on the other side.

I finally managed to do it several days ago, but the other side of the fleece is worn out, too bad ^^'. One side is clean, the others is weary, but hey, he looks so cute anyway :3 maybe I will post it one day, when he will be fully stuffed and clean (lack of cotton *sigh*).

I altered this pattern to make this little guy called Makar from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and would it be okay to sell the plushies I make from it? Just asking to make sure, because I don't want to get in trouble for claiming it as entirely my own. Here's what the character looks likeΒ www.google.com/search?q=makar&β¦ Β And you can see the plushie in my gallery. Thank you for making this pattern in the first place!

That's so creative!
Absolutely yes, you can sell anything you make with any of my patterns. Just spread word around about the tutorials so others can make their own creations too.

Thank you so much for the wonderful pattern. You are a very talented young lady. I'm a grandma, and I'm making 3 of your cute little Lumas for my grandson's 9th birthday. He loves Mario Galaxy and will be so thrilled. I've sewed since probably before you were born, but I could not have made this great pattern. Like I said, you have a great talent. Thanks for sharing it with all of us!

ER MER GERD!!!! I JUST FINISHED ONE AND IT WAS SO QUICK AND IT'S SO ADORABLE!!!! do you know of any way to enlarge the pattern for an average home computer? 'm thinking i want a body pillow kinda thing ('bout 25inches, give or take) but maybe i should do it at an office sized printer....Β
anyways THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR THIS PATTERN!!!!!! i love that it isn't just a 2D star, the little tummy is so cute >3<Β

If you make a Luma body pillow, that is gonna be one FAT Luma X'D
OH, OH! If you did you should make it that whitish, pinkish Luma that holds those little star candies in each hand (don't remember what those little things are called.) But he's always begging to be fed like 500 or so of them. (usually unlocks a stage) I think it would rather be-fitting.

I think I could sew really well, but I must do something wrong with my equipment. My machine always messes up everything I do every time. and when I hand sew because of that somehow the string knots up or accidentally sew the wrong thing X'D Make me frustrated. But I keep going cause >.> I know if it wasn't for these mishaps it could be just as you say! So fun and relieving. Β
