I made one! It's a tiger-patterned one! Only material in the house I could use...

Anybody have any name suggestions? It's a girl!

Thanks for your tutorial and pattern! But I seem to be getting very confused at step 3 :[

I seem to think that you mean sew the two pairs together, to each other, so that you have one sewn piece of a straight end and curly end sewn at the curve (like the left side of the 3rd picture) and another sewn piece of a straight end and curly end sewn at the curve (like the right side of the 3rd picture)
... but how could you possible open the two halves in step 4 when they are sewn together...

You leave a small section un-stitched, on the pattern there is an open gap, where you don't sew, that way you can stuff the plush then sew the gap up.

Eee! Thank you soooooo much for giving the pattern out in how to make this cutie. I've made a Luma before using crochet but it's so hard to get that right level of fat-chubby-adorableness that makes a Luma. When I make mine I'll post them up so you can see.

FLEECE! OF COURSE! I've read a lot of tutorials saying that felt is great for plush dolls, but fleece is so much better! It's softer and ages better! Thanks for the tutorial!
