Description
The storm has rolled in and there is no longer light enough for the shutter to do anything but crawl behind the lens at 1/16 of a second, and the earth doesn't stand still for me. It's all arbitrary now, and we must be content with storm and finch and flower, and the rags of light that our Lord has left behind. American Goldfinch in a native red bud, thunderstorm, Kansas, 4/13/2014. Dark as Hell.Related content

I was hoping you would like it, Cathy. It is, like all of my best work, a statement of my theology. Pretty simple really, that God's gift of life is beautiful beyond comprehension, especially in the darkest times.
