okay so?? i get 21p covered cancer to pay tribute to mcr and thats cool and all, i dont really like the cover and 21p fans are using that against me to attack me and say "oh well you're not a true mcr fan if you hate the cover uwu" and i'm tired of hearing "did you hear 21p's new song "cancer"? it's so good uwu" because mcr wrote that masterpiece. 21p is good but their songs aren't comparable to mcr. sorry.template by Kencho

As much as I love TOP, other people just frustrate me so much when they think Cancer was written by TOP. Every video I found of TOP's version of Cancer stated that TOP was covering it, and if that person had just bothered to search it up they would have seen that MCR's release came out earlier, making it clear that TOP covered the song, not MCR. Β

To be fair,I love the original song (My Chemical Romance rules <3) but never heard of the cover,I'll listen to it,but from what you just told I don't expect it to be good if that's a remix :-U (Same thing with Mike Posner's "I Took A Pill In Ibiza" which originally was a beautiful,emotional acoustic song,but unfortunately remix gained more fame...I love the original one,remix is ok I guess,but it lost its true meaning :-P)
Anyway,"Cancer" is NOT the only song like that...And if I was about to make a stamp for every single cover that gained more fame than original,they'd take over 50% of all art here :-/ Of course there are some covers that became popular because they deserved it and were trully better than original,but it's sad how some great artist are left behind because of this...Well,it just happens =u=
