Description
This locket has a very special feature: in the center is a domed glass cab - that has deep engraving on the back - which was hand painted. Its showing a bit of wear but I've now sealed it and it should last for years. This is extremely unusual - and likely is about 40-50 yrs old. I've only got 3 of these - and the one in the best condition is the main feature. It still has the remains of the original blue paint and the white of the sails.

The locket is 31mm in diameter - and snaps shut easily. It is quite an older locket, and is a bit darkened by age, but doesn't show any wear. Around the edge is an engraved pattern with flowers.

The ship rests onto of a black background - and a gear. Surrounding it is a date wheel from a men's wrist watch. Have a look at the detailed photo = you can see the little teeth. The other feature is a simple heart shaped charm - with a lovely romantic feel to it. I liked it for the simple yet elegant decoration.
