It's fun having a best friend who's a robot! I highly recommend it. Even after you've destroyed your uncle's favourite steam-powered velocipede and set fire to his automaton factory, your robot friend is there to make you feel better!I did this reasonably quickly. When you zoom in, it starts getting splodgy.
Pen and Ink, Corel Painter X, some touchup in Adobe Photoshop CS3.

coloring is awesome, as if something is ablaze with fire. I don't care about the splodgyness. It adds some sort of authentic feel to it.

The clothes on the robot remind me of Ms. Notch. The way the cloth flows and the way that it's torn is very catchy. Though, isn't the human boy hot with fur lining his clothes? XD
Still, this is a great concept. If these two ever make a return, then I can't wait to see their full body concepts!

Lol, the clothes do? Maybe it's because the rags over the shoulders look like frills. And she's a tomboy. Now that I look again, this design would have made a cute boy!
