#031 PyremiteFire-type
More bugs, it's Pyremite, based on a termite. This is actually one of the creatures I'd previously sketched out, but never ended up drawing in Art Academy. I was pretty happy with how it looked, so I didn't end up changing it too much for my little design book, even if it kinda looks more like and ant than a termite now that I'm looking up what termites actually look like.
The amount of Nature and Fire-types I've been doing has kinda made me feel like I screwed over Water-types but not making any good early-game alternatives if you didn't choose Puddlepus, but apparently Kanto didn't have any Water-types besides the Squirtle line until #054, so maybe it's fine.

It does indeed evolve. In fact, I thought of its evolution first, and then came up with Pyremite afterwards when I was trying to round out the types and Fire was lacking. At least, I think that's how it happened. At the very least, it's evolution is the reason I came up with a fire termite.
