Description
Along with "Pennies from Heaven", "Opey the Warhead", and a few other drawings, I'm also working on a comic called "Anyone but Virginia". It's about a superheroine who goes to her high school reunion and all the troubles included in it.It's a comic I'm working on with Josh Eiserike, a stand-up guy ([link] ). I haven't been working on it as much as I should, in fact, progress has been achingly slow. Still, Josh has been astonishingly patient with me. I love his writing and I hope I can get moving on this comic instead of the slow pace I'm taking.
The page above is a sample of one of the pages from Issue 4. The anatomy is not pristine but I'm trying to get better, which is the goal of every artist.

Thanks! The storyline is completely due to my compadre, Josh. I just illustrate his vision. It's interesting working with another individual because he or she may have you drawing things that will challenge you artistically and that you never would have thought of doing on your own. Working with Josh has improved my art immensely.

You are indeed getting better each page you draw and I'm intrigued by this story. Who's the bald character, he's quite appealing.
Your style is very organic and expressive and its downside is that sometimes correctness and consistency suffers slightly, but so far nothing so unpleasant to be an eyesore. You are lucky to have already achieved a level where you draw well and are easily recognised.

The bald guy is "Gil". I have a penciled page elsewhere in my gallery that shows him as a nerd as a kid playing a guitar. He grows up to be a more suave individual.

Thank you! The entire issue 4 is actually already penciled, but I now only have to ink it. It seems like an enormous task but hopefully I'll meet it.
