Description
While working on the Opey Collection, I came across this old page from a couple of years back. It's the rough pencils for an earlier version of "Opey the Warhead" I never used. This one was more action orientated than what came to be the final Opey comic.The woman in the SWAT gear was some Japanese woman who was in hot pursuit of the girl hiding behind the statue who is holding Opey in the swaddling clothes (although you can't tell it's him).
This page is perhaps doomed for the scraps.

What about a dream sequence??????, the differing styles would give that effect if you mixed them together. After all we have only had glimpses and whispers about Opey`s mother, after all that kid is gonna grow into an Adult who is gonna want some answers at 3am some morning....

You could expand this. Make it a side story or from another universe where things for Opey turned out differently. Think about it. Opey meets Alternate Opey. Sounds good to me.

This page, as well as several other one's not posted anywhere, will be included in the collection. In fact, the collection comes with a brief history of the evolution of "Opey the Warhead" and includes the first Opey comic page I ever made.
