Here's a bit of fanart for Dave Chisholm's "Let's Go to Utah". I believe Dave ( ) has written an indy masterpiece. It has delightful, memorable characters and all the sensibilities of a fine Coen Brothers film. I highly, highly recommend it to those who haven't read it. I did this drawing as a tip of a hat to Dave's superb comic.His comic is ongoing, but not for long. He's on the ninth and final issue of the series as of the posting of this deviation.

He's also selling the issues individually, so I recommend purchasing them.
He's also accepting fan art for the printing of the forthcoming final issue and I would be honored if he included this piece.
Dave is a great guy, as well. In his first printing of his comic, he included an ad to my comic, "Opey the Warhead". I'm not sure why, but his act of generousity I've never forgotten.
The characters are: Snake Lady (top), Dave (middle), the indomitable Leif (last, but not least).

Dave is actually a Coen Brothers fan, so I'm not the least bit surprised that he's nailed so perfectly the look of a character from those films.

It's a great comic, I've read the first issues many months ago, after seeing a link to Dave's gallery somewhere in your dA page, and loved the story and characters. I need to sit down and read the whole story so far.
However, I do remember the characters and I think you got them just perfectly right and all in your own style. It couldn't get any better
