Description
Here's the first page of a comic I'm working on alongside "Opey the Warhead". Don't you just hate it when you work on something for a long time and it turns out terribly disappointing? Actually, I feel that way about most of my art.
Such as is the case with this page. Ah, well. I'll probably redraw it and scrap this one but I thought I'd post it anyway. Back to the drawingboard...

Thank you so much! Admittedly, I wasn't happy with this version, so I did a new one which I think I'll stick with. I can't keep redrawing the same page over and over again.

It does give away the ending, but who did what, and how did they get to this point? Is this the kind of story where she pulls the sword out and slays her enemies?

Her hand and forearm are a bit large, maybe.
The sword looks a little awkward, I guess.

I think those are both salient criticisms. Not only is the hand too big and the sword off but I think the piece feels a bit too lifeless. I'm thinking of doing a second version and seeing how it looks.

Pffft, do I ever know how that feels! I think no matter how good something turns out, if the process to get there was painful, it's hard to like the piece.
I personally think it looks great. Look forward to more comic stuff from you!
