We feed birds -
mostly to attract in summer but all year with seed and suet for the others.
This morning we were surprised to see a beige sparrow

PS - Happily it's flock was very friendly to this very unusually colored sibling- could teach us all a lesson

very cool spotting! these don't usually last too long in the wild as they're easier to spot and single out by the predators...

it's back again today - but the entire flock is so jumpy I doubt I'll get a good shot of it
