The filly is White Wishes, and the pegasus is Aerial Ace, from a story of mine that's going on Fimfiction soon called Never Let Go. Can't say much more than that or I'd spoil the story. X3

No, the prologue is still being written, and I've got several other stories on my plate already. The one I'm working on now, one I hope to complete, is a Pokemon/MLP crossover called Faraway World of Our Dreams. It was a joke at first, which is why I was surprised that people actually liked it, and urged me to keep writing it, so... Yeah... Gotta finish that before I try to write this, because I aim to get it featured. (It'll center around Derpy and Dinky more than anyone.)

Really excellent landscape work. What program do you use? What kind of brushes? Do you use the same brushes for your characters as well?

Thanks! I use Photoshop and for this one I used a soft "noise brush" to put down the basic colors (you can see it in the clouds) and painted everything with a chalk type brush (that has a bit of texture to it, but still alows for sharp edges). For other pictures I usually just use the standard round brush and the standard chalk brush, and sometimes a kind of gritty brush that makes messy strokes.

Hmmm. I started out with a very, very simple set of brushes when I picked up PS recently, but I've been trying to branch out a bit. Brushes in general are kind of like kitchen gadgets for me--I like the idea of having a lot of them, but I know I'll probably rarely, if ever use them.
The chalk brush I use doesn't really allow for sharp edges, so I tend to not use it for much beyond final texture stuff. Is the one you use just a default brush, or one that you acquired somewhere?

Yeah I really don't use many of them either. But they're good when you want to add some texture and they can help cause some happy accidents by being a bit random. Usually I just use the standard chalk brush but for this one it was a custom brush. I think it might have been one of Daarken's ([link] brushes.
