Description
This is my first attempt at watercolours. As such, I figured it should be shared. Used pencil, waterproof ink and watercolour. Hope you enjoy.PS: I know that this isn't an erinyes/fury in the classical sense. For one thing, he's a he. While this character is still in a way an instrument of retribution and harsh aggressive justice, he is his own beast. I like drawing him, so he does recur in my gallery, here and there.

Very much enjoyed the first impression and the choice of color, shade, and intensity in the painting.
Because water color really draws my attention to the big picture, while line drawing focuses my eyes to detail, I might suggest, perhaps counter-intuitively, to spend extra time on proportions and related things before starting with the paint.
Specific notes:
At full resolution, the near (his right) knee appears to be small or recessed, perhaps from the strong line going through the middle of it.
At full resolution, the left pectoral does not appear to be turned away from our view enough to completely hide the nipple, but it is not visible in the painting.
None of the minor flaws are even noticeable except at full resolution. Great work!

Wait- this is your first time working with watercolors? Woah...I've been working with them for quite a few years, and the coloring and shading in this piece is still better than in my paintings.

Yeah, I decided that I wanted to start colouring my art and also decided that watercolour was how it would be done when I saw the art of *khaoskai . I thought, HOLY! I need to learn to do that. Haha. He's my idol.
Still, thanks for the comment. I still feel way clumsier with brush than I do with my pencils, but I'm hoping practice will make perfect.

You're welcome And it does take practice to feel more comfortable with the brushes, but once you do, it becomes almost natural. Keep up the awesome work!
