ACE!
Except the recoil would probably tear her arm off but i won't be the annoying nitpicker here.
Very very nice work.

Negative. The 82/107-types won't tear your arm off. You can shoot them standing, pretty nicely actually.

Ok. The number one thing to remember : and I will say this again : Many layers and patience. The lineart takes me maybe two or so hours. The rest of that time, 8+ hours, is coloring. The key to getting that smooth texture is keep the pencil layers light. Don't push hard on the pencil. Amazingly enough, the more layers of color, the better the look. And make sure to color it in different directions each time. I do have a tutorial that shows how my coloring process is done. I have improved since then, but it should atleast give you an idea of how it's done.
I use Prisma colored pencils. Both bold and verithin. Now I have heard (and seen) Fabercastel classic colored pencils. And they have an amazing amount of color also. It just depends which colored pencil you use. I recommend one of the two above, or both if you want to experiment. I also use what they call a colorless blender. Prisma color sells these too. They are a final color applicator and what it does is smooths out any imperfections in the colorg. I do have to say that it does take some practice to do this. But with that you can do it.
Again (told you^^) many layers and patience.

I just went off KYMG's drawing for reference since it seemed very accurate. I probably drew it smaller than it should be, but I will work on that for future drawings!^^

My only critique is that in the original deviation the blueness on her hair is smoke, not color, I think. But I think she looks really cool with blue hair

Well I like blue!!^^ It's hard to tell what colors where used since it's digital. In the digital world there are a hell of a lot more colors than in the traditional world.. arg Thank you!

Interesting concept I say. It reminds me of Gunslinger Girl, that's a nice videogame alright.
Although the concept is not yours, you still do a nice job to paint it traditionally
