Description This is part of my "Gizoid Imitator" series, where I take a random character, and draw them as a Gizoid, who are powerful robots from Sonic Battle and Sonic Chronicles, that are able to copy the abilities of those they fight, to create unique Gizoid designs. It's as if these mimic masters decided to fully embody those that they copied. I based the framework design on my current Emerl and Gemerl Redesigns, which are more complicated than their original designs in Sonic Battle and Sonic Advance 3, respectively.
I do not intend to take requests, though don't let that stop you from dropping ideas. If I like the idea, I might take it, and add them to my list to work on later.

So, I’m releasing TWO Immitators today, and here is the first of them: Iris Heart from Hyper Dimension Victory / Re;Birth 3.

So, why this character? Well, since becoming a fan of this series, I was considering making some of the Hyperdimension characters as Gizoid Imitators, including some of the CPUs in their HDD forms, such as Purple Heart. But Iris Heart caught my eye as a... fairly difficult character to make, at least when thinking about it visually. And that’s why I decided to do it, because it was going to be a challenge. And I decided to make it now, following the Plutia the Sloth piece I made previously, so it’s in theme.

The particular thing that I thought would be tough was Iris Heart’s outfit. I’m not a huge fan of skimpy clothing, but considering Iris Heart’s personality, I think it’s fitting. But the trick here is that I’m drawing this character as a robot, who has an outfit showing a lot of skin. So what do I do with all that skin? (That sure sounds weird.)

Well, obviously, just make it metal. But the question was how to make it look good, along with the outfit. And I think it looks pretty good. I especially took a lot of time to consider how to remake the outfit into the plating I use for my gizoid designs.

So, going to the hair, I did a similar thing I did with the Francisca Imitator, because I thought it would look weird without it (lots of girls, including girl characters, just have long, nice looking hair, that’s just fact). So I worked in the hairstyle Iris Heart has.

Also, the goddesses of the Hyperdimention games, or CPUs (Console Patron Units, in the games), iff you will, have the power symbol as their CPU symbol, and when they change into their HDD form, it appears in their eyes. I wasn’t sure how to make that work for this design, given how I do the Gizoid’s eyes. Then I figured, “why not put it in the third eye?” The Gizoid's third eye is known as a signal of evolution or reaching park power for a gizoid. So, I realized that it would fit best to place it there.

The most I say to finish this up is to mention just how much I had to make on this. These two Gizoids both had lots to work on, both for the body design and extras. With Iris Heart, it was her whip sword and the pose I made for it, and a bit of the wings, though I actually really enjoyed making the wings. They’re cool looking wings.

I also used the background from the Plutia the Sloth and Peashy Bee piece. Just because I think it works for Iris Heart.
