30min. spitpaint, Photoshop CS6. I wanted to do something quiet and subdued tonight after a bit of a frenetic, busy evening/day. I thought about the piece for a bit, decided I wanted the focus to be on the knight and the ominous, large dragon who had come to inspect her, everything else is a bunch of smudgy smudges in the background
The tint on her armor was a happy accident... I was playing with some blending modes in the last few minutes when I decided to set her skin tone/head color to one layer and played around with the other. Desaturated and darkened the Overlay a little with some color shift and it made this nice green hue for the armor. ^_^

Interesting piece, the dragon is unusual and came out well. The knight with that huge sword relaxing is quite interesting. Hmmm, Perhaps relaxing in the early morning fog in prep for the days hunt. Dragon aware of the activity checks out the Knight. The question arises hunt or truce. LOL I like it, amazing job especially for a 30 min piece!
