I really need to practice drawing cats and dogs more lol....it's like someone faking trying to draw a cat that kinda comes out okay, kinda horrible... I originally was gonna have this be at night, blues and turqoises, glowy white eyes... but I thought something more red and orange would be more fun, so I started inverting most of the layers, keeping some blue to build contrasts and mixes with the other layers.Definitely more of a 'feel' kind of piece I guess...certainly not one of anatomical accuracy...ah well
