I guess maybe more like 'fire proof' lol, that's a lot of heat... it's a super simple base with very opaque, smoky brushes used to generate the layer of fire over and under the figure, smudged later to get more irregularity going. This one has a lot of blending mode effects mixed in, even in the last few seconds I was tinkering with what settings to use since changing just 1 layer out of the bunch generated very different effects depending on what it was and what it was changed to. I think I should've thrown on one more screen on the back of its tentacle head bits, just to blend more of the light into it.
