Had some time to work on a Sketch Dailies theme (sketch _Dailies on Twitter, check'em out, lots of fun things every day hehe), today's was "Firedrake". Originally I planned on drawing some crazy lizard of claws and fire bursting through a wall of lava...... then thought, maybe something more subtle, more subdued... something at dusk, right when he's done stretching and ready to head off to hunt for food in the night. Maybe a cow... maybe a wary adventurer or two.

About 45min. in Photoshop CS6, majority done with the default chalk brush with a round snagged from ctrlpaint.com's brush tutorial ^_^ That round... man... that was like the single best thing that ever happened to me with regards to digital art.. using the default chalk for smudging I think is the 2nd best lol.
