Description
Had a couple ideas in mind when I started, some ancient ruins with fossilized remains of civilization, like a Pompei-type incident that occured, or in this case an explorer coming upon the remnants of a great battle.

Simple ideas, popping open the upper section of the cave meant that I just had to do a rough paint-in on the opening and have some overlaid elements to give it a little more depth and placement of space. It's hard to see at this level of contrast (looked a bit lighter on my Cintiq) but there's several layers of dead bodies in the background with a few specs of dust floating about, finally disturbed after resting for decades. I wish I remembered to pop a couple more layers of blending modes set to screen to help get more glare off of the flashlight. Ah well, another time, a few more seconds.
