Description
Late-night 30min. spitpaint, theme was "reincarnation"... originally, as always haha, it was something a bit different, I had this alien-esque being reaching out of a pool of viscous fluid but it started just turning into, well, this. Β The last 3 minutes or so was me scrambling with a couple of brushes trying to get an effect, but duplicating Overlay layers and tweaking hue/saturation to the rescue insteadRelated content

When I reference the Necrons and anyone mentions 'particles', I can only think of it in terms of flaying.
Particle flaying, what a wonderful way to be torn to pieces. ...Atom layer by atom layer.

I'd imagine it would be excruciatingly painful if done so... so I'd assume it would be done so haha

Considering the Necrons find themselves in a state of apathetic soullessness (Literally), I do not think they'd mind causing a bit of excruciating pain here and there.
A quote from the 1d4chan page of one particular Necron Cryptek (Scientist, basically) "The subjects are kept in stasis so they don't die as they're cut to pieces. He watches each one to make sure he doesn't miss anything and take notes. If the screaming gets too loud for his liking, he just turns his hearing down."

Spitpaint or speedpaint? The first one gives me weird assumptions you consume paint, then spit on canvas and then paint it.

That's what I think of too lol. The group I'm a part of is called Daily Spitpaint, I never bothered to look up the etymology of the word but maybe it does have some stemming from spitting and painting haha
