30min spitpaint in Procreate on an iPad Pro. It looks a lot more like fire than venom, but I like it lol. I had something in mind from my comic for this scene, it's more lore-related than an actual scene planned for the book but was thinking of this guy while painting. I try not to, but it's fun experimenting with brushes on the fly while the timer is ticking, just forced randomness and happenstance coming into play.Related content

I like the way the characters pop ouf ot the dark background, and the luminescent yellowish venom breath looks incredible, in the way it glows and how it flows and rolls on itself

It's an off-centered cone blast of an aerosolized semi-viscous medium shot at moderate force. You can see some of the knight being captured in the spray arc, some thicker parts of the membranous stream being pushed around his shield, yet his form is still mostly visible because the blast wasn't on-target.
Or it's because it's magic.
Or I had 30 minutes and didn't really care because it looked fun lol
