Description Seems like DA having problems again. Preview is not showing T_T just DOWNLOAD it then.

I finally made a tutorial. My first photomanip tutorial <3

(Download for full size).

I think that photomanip techniques are better explained on some example than with just words so i decided to show you how i do my manips. It's really a long process (but this tutorial took me longer than the actual manip T_T). I hope my example and my instructions and advices will help you
in the future. It's a really detailed tutorial so i think that even the beginners will be able to find smth useful there. It's how i do my manips, and i'm not telling that it's the best way. There won't be any cutting and pasting models. That what i came to after 1,5 years of manipulating
pics. It's always an experiment for me! Don't be afraid to experiment yourselves!

If you find this tutorial useful, plz fav it so others can find it. Thank you
If you have any questions, feel free to ask ^_^

Hey, how do you separate the object from the background and move it to the pic?

what program do you use? i just erase the parts that i don't need and drag it on the pic i'm working on

I use Photoshop 5.5. I use the cut erase to erase the stuff I don't want. I drag it to the pic I'm using but sometimes you can see TINY bits of the background. So then I use the polygonal lasso tool and that works too, but it really makes it look like a cut-cut glued onto some random picture! DX

you just need more practice to make it look more realistic.

Hey, when I crop, it just puts it in a rectazngle. O.O Is there any way I can crop where I want to crop without being only in rectangles?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Cocodrillo In reply to GreatWhiteShark1 [2009-07-18 20:40:32 +0000 UTC]

crop tool crops only in rectangles. if you want to crop some other shape zone i guess you need to select it by some other tool. I haven't actually come across such a question before ^_^
