Originally this was a sketch, but I liked it enough to colour it the same day. I've been recently introduced to art from the PS2 game Odin Sphere at the PE forums, and let me just say this:If this game is available in PAL version, I am so on it.
Looks very impressive from what I've seen on Youtube, and all the characters interests me, most of all the designs. I swear I wanted to draw Velvet from the very moment I first saw her, like some sexy red riding hood gypsy/dancer.

the coloring is sooooooo beautiful! i like her pose--everything is appealing to the eye. her expression is not something i'd see in velvet: she's quiet, often expressionless, but with a pure heart. the shading is unbelievable--professional, bright, solid. she is portrayed well. you did exceptionally well with her hair and hat-thingy. even with the pencil strokes, it looks great! i'd prefer it that way--gives you a fairytale feeling......

so i love this alot. the colors, her expresion you captured it so well. I tried to draw velvet the other day and couldnt seem to figure it out, it just kept looking funny. i <3 yours though.

Besides, it's ony fair to make it a PAL game when Scandinavia uses PAL and Norse mythology comes from there in the first place.
