For Valentine's Day contest.
Dr. Delbert Doppler and Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet. Saw this film just a few weeks ago via the club's livestream and instantly feel in love with these two characters and their relationship. I actually found myself more interest in their development then the main story on a few occasions. So they were an obvious choice for me.

I really love how their relationship develops through the course of the movie. It seems very natural. (Yes, I know its weird saying that about a dog-man and a cat-thingy ) When they first meet, they don't get along very well. Yeah, its the basic "slap-slap-kiss" trope, but I think they played it well. They don't seem to outright hate each other, more like they just get on each other's nerves. As the movie goes on they become friends, and eventually, well, this. Nothing revolutionary, but since most Disney romance seems to be "I just meet you and I love you," it's a refreshing change of pace.

I'm really proud of this image. The line art and color turned out really good for my skill level. Even the background came out pretty nice, all be it simple.
