After I saw these UP coloring pages, I fell in love! It's so expressive and manages to capture the look and feel of the movie while still being its own thing. Check out the whole coloring book for the awesome art.
I wanted to focus on Carl and Ellie because, dang it, they're so cute. As great a movie as UP is, we all know those first 10 minutes are a masterpiece in and of themself. The fact that these two were together from childhood to Ellie's dying day (and possibly beyond) is just too adorable. I originally wanted to do a triptych of them from childhood to marriage to old age. But I couldn't find a good image of them as old folks, and I didn't feel like editing the pages too much, so I had to settle on a diptych.

Dear goodness, the first ten minutes of that movie are a universal masterpiece all their own. I think you brought half of those minutes into these pages well, showing how they met and how their relationship blossomed as they grew from playmates to sweethearts to bride and groom and finally to happy husband and wife. I love how the colors are so bright and yet at the same time, they seem reasonably down to earth and muted, like the colors know that it's a chance to be happy and bright, but they're sensible enough to not blind the viewer. Kind of symbolic how the relationship with Carl and Ellie is, in a way, now that I think about it. The colors represent their relationship in that one is the outgoing one (Ellie) and the other is more quiet (Carl), but they both complement each other nicely. The handprints on the mailbox are so inviting and fun, as fun and inviting as the couple is. Nice job on making a lovely piece celebrating these two.
