Robert was part of an expedition team. At the start of winter, they headed to the North Pole. It was not the best time to explore an already cold place but they wanted to be remembered and the best way to be remembered was to do things differently.

Suddenly and without warning a fierce blizzard happened obstructing Robert's vision. He shouted for the others but they could not hear him. They could not see or hear him either. They had their own problems dealing with the storm and they could not look after everyone at once. To make matters worse, when Robert checked his equipment he found it was not working. He was truly on his own.

Gradually the feeling of cold faded from him. At first Robert thought this was due to numbness but he was actually moving faster than before. He ran to catch up with the others. He was running so fast it felt like he could fly. Despite his newly found speed, the rest of the expedition team was nowhere to be found. What he did find appeared to be some sort of workshop.

Robert rubbed his eyes thinking it was a mirage. That was when he noticed his gloves had disappeared. His hands were bare and looked more feminine than they did before. His clothing was changing. He himself was changing.

The hair on his head grew all the way down to his waist and all body hair disappeared. Antlers grew out of his head. His body became younger and more feminine. His coat became a white and brown dress, his leggings got thinner and became white tights, and his boots became a pair of girls' shoes. His sleeves completely disappeared.

His breasts grew. By this point, Robert understood the nature of the change but there was nothing he could do about it. Instead of panicking, he just let the changes happen. His genitals transformed leaving him, or her, completely female. The feeling of coldness completely disappeared too. She had become a reindeer girl and Santa's workshop was directly ahead.

Roberta, as she started calling herself, wondered what kind of work she was going to do once she got there. She also wondered what her expedition team was going to think once they realized she was missing. They never did because they did not remember anyone else had ever been with them.

The workshop was filled with a variety of mythical creatures. All of them were busy making toys. Roberta found a place for herself and started making toys along with them. They had to pick up the pace. It was almost Christmas. Roberta knew if things got bad enough she might even have to guide the sleigh. She hoped that would not happen but after all the things she had just experienced she had no idea what to expect next.
