Once I was a man in my late thirties. I was in a big city surrounded by tall skyscrapers. It was winter time. My outfit consisted of a black winter coat and a dark blue business suit. Then I went through changes.

My first hint that something was different occurred when I opened the door of the building leading to my office. The people inside were moving around as usual but they seemed blurry and less detailed. Looking back I could still see the people outside clearly. I just dismissed it thinking something was wrong with the lighting and headed towards the elevator.

The walls and furniture also became blurry. No one else was in sight. I was the only one in the area. The elevator which was right in front of me could no longer be seen. Then the walls and furniture also disappeared.

I found myself drifting through a black void. I was just a white human shaped blob with no distinguishing characteristics. As I moved it felt like I was floating. A few stars appeared overhead as if it was nighttime which it was not.

Far ahead I could see a door. It looked like the door usually found on the other side of the building. Nothing else seemed familiar. As I moved toward it the floor was solid again. Once more I was walking instead of floating. I opened the door and proceeded to the other side.

When I reached the other side. I found myself on the beach. My body gained new features that were unfamiliar to me. I was now a woman in my early twenties. My outfit consisted of a white hat and flowing white dress. It was summer time and no one was anywhere near me.

I walked along the shore as if it was something I did every day. Perhaps I would meet someone who could explain to me what happened, perhaps not. For now I am content to just enjoy the scenery even if I do not understand it.
