Elves Versus Orcs was the most popular Virtual Role Playing Game of the twenty-second century. VRPGs as they were called were slow getting started due to numerous technical difficulties but once they got going they made most other roleplaying games obsolete. They could be played anywhere at any time. VRPG conventions sprang up all over the world.

Henry and Alex were among the first people to purchase tickets to their local convention and among the first people to attend the convention itself. They were particularly looking forward to testing out the new Elves Versus Orcs expansion, the first of its kind.

Henry and Alex had a friendly rivalry. Henry played as an elf while Alex played as an orc. They had encountered and battled each other many times while playing Elves Versus Orcs with the outcomes being about 50/50. Neither of them could say they were clearly the better of the two. With the new expansion, both of them were hoping to settle things in their favor.

When the people demonstrating the game at the convention asked for volunteers to test some new characters, Henry and Alex both volunteered. They were told to sit in chairs on opposite sides of the room. Then various wires were hooked up to their arms and legs allowing them to connect to the virtual world. It was standard procedure when playing a virtual game for the first time. Elves Versus Orcs, however, promised to take players deeper into the game then ever before with their new expansion.

For Henry, things started out smoothly. He could see the forest all around him. The sounds of birds could be heard nearby. Even the smell of fresh pine needles reached his nose for all practical purposes. His own form was just a bright blurr with little or no feeling to it. Slowly his virtual body began to take shape.

Then a power surge hit. Henry knew the program was new and might still have some bugs in it, but this was not something he was expecting. The power surge automatically selected his virtual body so he ended up with the default settings. Omylia was a young female elf archer with green hair and large ears, even by elf standards. She was dressed in green and brown and carried a large bow.

Her breasts were sensitive and Henry could feel them. Henry started to massage her breasts but quickly remembered he was actually at a convention with many people watching him. Henry used Omylia to start exploring the virtual world. He could feel every sensation in her body and all her interactions with the world around her. It only took her a few minutes to find the arena where she prepared to do battle. In the actual game it would have taken far longer, but this was a demo and they wanted to skip to the action.
