Words Below:
Josh had an important business meeting in a city he never visited before. To his surprise, the building where he was supposed to give his presentation was empty with the only light coming from a hallway to the side. Josh figured he was just early so he entered the building which was unlocked and headed down the hallway. At the end of the hallway was a white piano that looked like something out of No Straight Roads, a computer game he had been playing. He went up to the piano for a closer look. Even the details looked just like the one in the game. He half expected Yinu to appear at any time.
Josh hit one of the keys. Its musical sound echoed all around him which just made him want to play it more. As he did, his body became younger and puffed out making him look more like a 3D computer image than a human being. His gender gradually changed too. He was becoming more and more like Yinu.
Still unaware of the changes, Josh played more and more complicated songs that should have been far too difficult for him. He put any distracting thoughts, like a business presentation, out of his mind as he pushed himself to play better and better. His clothing turned white and orange as his hair arranged itself in a neat orderly fashion behind him. By this time, he looked like a rough animation of a gender neutral teenager.
"This is MY piano!" declared Yinu. "It was given to me as a gift!"
The changes continued. Eventually he, or she, completely looked like a girl or at least the computer animation equivalent of one and her clothing looked more suited for a piano recital than a business meeting. Yinu thought about her father and how he taught her to play when she was younger. It was what motivated her and why she spent so much time on the piano. Her final song was filled with triplets and rapidly changing keys. She was one of the few people who could keep of with such things.
Once Yinu was done, she stood up and bowed to her audience of one. Her mother was the only other person in the entire building. She clapped excitedly. Yinu knew her mother would take good care of her.
