Sirse was out on the hunt again, searching through the maze of vines and yellow orange pumpkins. Looking for just the right one...

Perhaps this one, hefting it in her arms, she strained, lifting it off the ground. The pumpkin's waxy coat making for a difficult grip and she had to mind her step as she trudged back trying to maintain her footing. Even though her sweater she could fee the cooling press of the goad against her chest and was grateful that she had chosen to wear her thickest sweater. Scanning the field she looked around for the muscle she had insisted accompany her here.
